befor every one starts freaking out about me asking about puting automatic transmion fluid in a manual mopar dose it with some of there tranys from the factory. has anyone tried using atf and how did you like it vs a 10w40 or 20w50 oil in there.
 
ATF or Motor oil is ok in early cars (believe 90-91.5). The used a diffrent synchro material (crappier) that works better with atf or motor oil. This is what i got from jon at tre when he had to use the older synchros material on a jdm gearset. Not installed yet to let you know how it feels, sorry.
