My 1G NT fwd/AT tranny is having issues:
1.Idles perfect with no surge while in Park or Neutral at 800rpm;
2.When in Drive or Reverse idles DROPS to 400rpm and engine wants to stall but doesn't;
3.Press on the throttle, I get a low pitch noise, the car chugs for 1 sec(almost stalls) then SUDENLY wants to PEEL OFF; IT sound like the Torque COnverter wants to BIND UP then releases????
4. Once you are going the car shifts perfect and smooth in every gear;
5.The problem occurs every time I come to a stop and get going and GOES away at 2k rpm.
6. There is no check engine light and the caps have been changes in the TCU and ECU months ago and had no problem since recently;
Questions:
1.What is your guys imput????Anybody ever experienced this???
2.What are the signs of a bad TC??
3.What are the sings of a bad Front AT pump??
4.Why would my problem go away after 2k rpm??
