At 2 years old, my son shows me he is going to be a Football player.

Ah.... boys will by boys.

I don't care, I am teaching my son be self sufficient. He can either cry about it or get up and do something about it. Either way, I don't want him to come to me to solve a problem. This may sound cruel, but it's not. Its just tough love.

So i'm curious, how does this show that he wants to play football? Where all the kids playing football in there and he wanted to also? And also that kid in the back looks pissed.

Found another picture of the kid in the back

you should show your son what its like to be a fighter. get him his first set of baby brass knuckles ;)

I can see the hate crimes now..."2 year old brings brass knuckles to party to settle rivalry with black nemesis."

The kid in the background was just about to tackle my boy before I snapped the picture. Thats the joke of the picture. In the end, my son fell on his own anyway and the kid just flopped over him. This was my sons first time in a Moon-Bounce so he had no balance.

Im sure when you were that young, you tackled people and had no idea you were doing it.

I guess so, I just wouldn't want some kid takling my kid like that, I kind of act like a parent when some kid push's and is rude with my little brother. I always end up chewing the parents out.

so you're telling us you're a loose cannon then?

kids will be kids, its all fun until someone gets hurt.

Well everyone was tackling everyone in there. Despite his hieght the other kid is 3 yrs old, my son is not even 2 yet (well be in a few days). So he just got in the mix of it. Like I said, boys will be boys.

Loose cannon? No I just don't like it when parents let there kids push there way to the front of a line or act uncontrollable and attack my brother. I don't blame the children I blame the parents, you'll understand when you have a kid or a little brother.

Once you hit puberty and have kids you'll have room to talk. Until then, sit back and learn lifes lesson. The point is he will get hurt in life. Theres nothing anyone can do to stop that. I'm teaching him very early to be tough and self sooth. He learned to walk on his own at a very early age because of my method of parenting. He's also learned to "get up and shake it off" from an early age. This doesn't mean if he breaks his arm, I'm gonna tell him to deal with it. But I don't want him running to me if he skins his knee learning to skateboard. I want him to get back up and try again.

Just out of curiosity how old of a dad are you? Are you a teenage parent or an adult?
