if i had the time to before heading out your way i would nab one. there is a junkyard not far from where i live with some pretty intact Dsms. (I think they are all are N/T though) i think 2 eagles 1 eclipse (1.8L SOHC) and a lazer

OMFG. They want 319 $##@ing dollars for a ABS speed sensor. WTF? its just a cable

ok, help me out here guys. do i really need to spend that much money on that part to make my speedometer work?

Is the door panel for the 2g talon? I know my salvage yard has a 2g talon but i think it has manual windows. I'll run out there later and see for sure. Let me know if this manual window door panel is the one you need and I'll pic it up for ya. Me and bandit are headed your way Sunday ill bring it with me if it's the one you want.

Found an awd tranny on the classifieds, the only thing is he only takes checks or money orders. So that's probably not going to happen.

I think I'm going to be buying a 7 bolt engine from a person who lives in state. Its supposed to have all evo 8 internals in it. Would that be a good buy or not?

I don't need the manual door panel itself. What I really need is the plastic piece that goes behind the door handle to open the door. Also need the triangle vanity piece that goes next to the window on the driver side, and a rear trunk cover that goes behind the back seat.

Idk I probably wont buy it anyways. But I will buy a 23 spline tranny and swap my 22spline output shaft so it will bolt to my transfer case.

Then since I will gave a spare tranny. I might push myself to learn how to rebuild it

What do you guys think of the AEM tru boost gauge. Good buy or not so much.

Probably what il get. Its better then stock

It is a good gauge, since it's electric you don't have to worry about running a boost source into the cabin. Also if you go with link you should be able to use it to log boost, I know I can with a greddy electric gauge.

i already have a boost gauge and a mbc i just thought it would be nice to get the tru boost and the ugeo from aem and use them both with a link

Truman is right down the road. The 420a engine can be found just about anywhere as it is a very common engine. What is wrong with the current one?

As for mods, there's not a lot you can do for performance for the 420a. The best you could do is to clean it up, make it look nice, and take care of it.

I have to tear into the one I have to see but was told it jumped time and bent valves but dont know what the damage is yet. Wanting find new motor to get the car rolling while I check the old one out and fix for a back up.

Agreed. The 2gb Talon bumper is superior. I just purchased one for my Talon.
