Are 2ga sideskirts dif than 2gb?

Do I go through the trouble of adding the 2Gb Turbo Wing?

I'm using the supra revers lights . Now i'm either gonna tint the oem everse lights . shave em . or put on a spare blitz rear that I have .

Hi everyone.

Can I simply swap the side skirts and door caps or do I need to replace the doors also? TIA

You can take 2ga Talon sideskirts, door caps, and door moldings and fit them on any 2g Eclipse fitted with side skirts, door caps, and door moldings.

I've got a shaved/filled Talon side package on my car with 2gb Eclipse front and rear bumpers. I kinda liked the curvyness of the Talon sides.

I have a 95 TSI that I’m trying to get back on the road, the previous owner cracked up the stock front bumper and bought a new 2gB eclipse one and the headlights that both came with the car, I test fitted the bumper cover last weekend and it didn’t look like it fit over the stock bumper reinforcement at all. But from everything I have read from searching these forms it should be a direct swap. I just wanna clarify that I should be able to use everything off my 95 like mounting brackets and the bumper support. Also how easy is it to #### up the frames on these cars because if everything is supposed to fit but it doesn’t then I have some major issues. The bumper cover didn’t look like it took that big of a hit to move the bumper support that far off. Thanks for the help.

If you could take some pictures it may help a little better. Everything should fit though, the only thing is you also have to get 2gb headlights because the 2ga had different headlights, i believe they were slightly shorter, someone correct me if i'm wrong. I mean there are some other differences too, but everything should at least bolt up with no issues.

That's what iv heard and i got a set of 2gb headlights with the new front bumper. The whole thing just doesn't seem to match up so it has me worried. Ill take a closer look at it when i get home. One other thing after looking at your pic, do the turn signals match up or will i need the eclipse ones?

i'm pretty sure that the lights will match will the fender.

Definitely post some pics. The turn signals will fit fine, and as far as the headlights, they should fit. The 95-96 headlights are a little longer by the way, not shorter.

I had removed my 'core bumper' when I installed my FMIC, I'd just remove it. Saves a couple of pounds plus it makes room for easier install.

Yes, if your doing a 2gb conversion you need the 97-99 front bumper and headlights.

Yea looks like crap, like most things, do it right the first time. USUALLY if not almost all the time will save you time, money, labor in the future.

If you are a perfectionist and insist that all the mounting points of the headlights be bolted, then you will have to remove the bumper again to reach 2 of them I believe.

yea i get you guys, but i really don't wanna have the bumper just laying in my room...labor im not worried about, money not the point..time, i have a lot to spare believe me...LOL...BoostedinSoFla can tell u..im waiting on some guy from craigslist to reply to my email, but im guessing he is like alot of people that don't check there email...

You sure do have a lot of time on your hands:D

Anyway, just wait until you get the 2gb headlights man, it'll be worth it.

I know you dont wanna be driving around with your car looking like this, especially with your new CF hood and all:

Hey guys! Just trying to get some feed back. I have a 95 GSX that I'm selling. I've decided to convert over to the 97-99 look. I have the bumpers, side skirts, door caps, headlights, fog lights and wing. Keep in mind that to add the turbo wing, I would have to weld up the holes in the quarter panel, 2 small holes & one big hole on the hatch!! That involves removing the rear interior! Several hours of work... plus grinding, bondo and sanding! Should I go through the trouble of putting on the turbo wing? What do you guys think??? Just seems to be a lot of work! Do you guys think that the car will sell better with the turbo wing? The car will be painted midnight blue next week soo..... Thanks for the input!
