Apexi safc bov Q

well i just bought a apexi safc (verison 1) or what ever.. the one with 4 buttons.. and i haven't installed it yet.. but i was wondering.. with this will i be able to vent my bov? i know nothing about this thing yet but i am learning

No you will not you need to get blow through style MAF. The <a href="http://www.fullthrottlespeed.com">MAFT</a> after the BOV will work. Reason being is with your current system metered air is leaving the system, when that occurs your car jumps to rich <from the air it expects>. The blow through style doesn't measure the air until after the BOV.

Did you get the safc just to vent the bov? That should be the least of concerns. If you want to make some noise, get a hard intake pipe, and recirculate an aftermarket bov (hks is pretty loud from the ones ive heard). I'm keeping my stock one for a while, it does its job just fine. Sorry to get off topic, I just wanted to say you should explore the potential of the safc...im still waiting to get one. Please don't hate me.
