I'm looking to buy a new cat-back exhaust for my 99 gs. Debating between the apexi n1 and greddy evo2. I know the greddy has stainless piping. Any other advantages of one over the other besides pricing?

I am also looking at those two and I have heard great things about the EVO2 like its a great sound thats not ricey. But the N1 is also good im am still torn between the two.

i had the greddy sp.... for 2 years... and it was alrite

then i went for the greddy evo ... it sounds so quiet at idle..... but then when i redline.....it sounds so deep and beautiful..... when im in 5th... doing 60 i downshift into 3rd... and its so loud.....

everybody loves my exhaust .... i have no cat.... and 4-1 header... and i shoot small balls of flames.... :thumb:

i have a full body kit... wing.... and i think my exhaust backs it up for people to break there necks.... OMG

What do you have that would cause you to shoot flames? Nothing in your modification list seems like it would cause it. It's usually a result of running super rich, but you don't list any fuel mods or tuning devices.

I really do think im running rich.. i have the air fuel ratio gauge ... and i connected it to the white wire with black stripe.. but its not working because 1 of my o2 sensor are broken ....

some one also told me i could be burning valves...

im pretty sure its because of that...

No its because you have no cat. The cat has special metals in it that mix with the exhaust. And when you have no cat one of the causes is it shoots flames ou tthe back.

I've been running no cat on a couple of other cars for years, it might backfire a little (carburated) but never shoot a flame. And I've got a friend with a Civic and 55shot that shoots flames with a catalytic converter.
