Apexi N1 Exhaust System= Cat Eliminator?

Hey i herd from another member here that the Apexi N1 Exhaust System is a Catalitic Convertor Eliminator system? Is that true? I always thought that the N1 system just bolted right behing the cat. Hints the name "cat-back system." Am i nuts or is this other guy crazy. Thanks

If you get the full n1 exhaust its a turbo back system. its a down pipe (from turbo) to the end of where the cat would normaly end and then the "cat back" exhaust bolts up to that. So if you just get the cat back your fine, it will bolt directly to the cat itself. Only if you get the down pipe with it will you eliminate the cat.

Note not all downpipes eliminate the cat! some will allow you to keep the cat it just so happens that the n1 down pipe just eliminates it.
