My car is sitting on jackstands as I type this. I have an HKS catback, and stock 02 housing. My car is a 96 awd talon. I have a brand new n1 downpipe, but when I went to install it- the damn thing was about 2-3 inches too long. What the hell is up with that? I checked the serial numbers, and they match for my car. What could this be?

Fast replies are greatly appriciated.

Apexi and RS*R downpipes are made to fit the same brand cat backs. They're a couple inches longer and eliminate the cat. When you buy an Apexi or RS*R catback, it comes with an adapter to bolt to the stock cat. The downpipe compensates for this by being longer, thus eliminating the need for the adapter.
