Hey guys, I just bought the Tsudo 3" N1 catback, and had it installed. It looks good and all, but it is real quiet. At idle, it sounds good, just a low burble. It sounds good up to about 3,000 rpm, then as if magically, it becomes COMPLETELY silent. I mean, the stock exhaust I could at least still hear.I had my friend drive past me while I listened and I could not hear it AT ALL past 3 grand. I dont know if maybe this is because its not the true N1, but I thought it was going to be pretty loud. It does have 1 resonator on it, but does anyone think it would make that much of a difference if I take it off? Also, would a downpipe help any in making it at least a little bit louder? Sorry for the long post, but I want to at least be able to hear this thing. Thanks guys
I have a 3" cutout between the downpipe and cat, so its no biggie. My exhaust is pretty damn quiet, as I have a CAT, a resonator, and an Edelbrock 5525, which was designed to keep V8 cars quiet. It flows quite well also, better than some systems which produce MORE noise than whats necessary. Nothing wrong with running a quiet exhaust, the cop will just think its the riced out Honda with the shiney muffler next to you with a sleeper setup.
