Apex s-afc pressure problem

My apex afc gage is not reading the boost pressure correctly. I have a 92 plymouth laser. The pressure on the gage reads about -750 at idle and when under load or rev in only fluctuates about to -740 or so. I know that my turbo is making boost because I also have a manual boost gage that is reading correctly. Obviously I would know if my car isn't making boost. I checked the connection on the throttle body elbow, and it still reads incorrectly. Any ideas??

My SAFC doesn't read pressure, is this some mod your using, like hooking up a MAP sensor rather then using the TPS?

it reads pressure on mine. If your looking at the main screen you hit previous, and select prs as one of your read outs. It gets read in cm squared not psi.

The SAFC can be set up for different type of air metering setups on different cars. If you set it up correctly for a Karman MAF the Pressure display shouldn't show up.

ditto, another way you'll know if you've selected the wrong sensor type is you can blow black smoke going down the road.

I don't have a maf, I'm running an HKS VPC. I believe it changes it over to speed density.

Nope, the ECU is still expecting a Karman airflow input signal. The VPC converts from it's internal format to a Karman output on DSMs.
