Anyone with an AVC-R...Plz. Help!

I've read the manual over and over, tried to get tech help from friends of mine who use the AVC-R...But still, I can't seem to "control" the boost. I pretty much have a stock setup right now...I have my Boost Setting at 0.80 and Duty Cycle at the lowest of the low 20% and I still hit 1.51 mmHg or on my Boost guage well over 20 PSI. Also, around last summer before I parked my car for the winter, whenever my Boost would hit about 1.20+ mmHg I would feel my Turbo dying on me, I dont know it its fuel cut or just a ready to collapse turbo? The boost would hit a certain point then all of a sudden there would be no more power, even though if I was still like at 3rd or 4th gear at 4000+ RPM. If anyone using the AVC-R that could help I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

the stock turbo is running as hard as it can stock. you should not try to turn up the boost without a turbo upgrade. that is why it dies on you sometimes.
