I was thinking about getttin HKS cat back but it says piping diameter for gst is 60 and gsx is 75? wtf i dont understand why gsx gets bigger piping...can anyone explain this to me? thanks...also if you have hks cat back let me know how u like it n which of the cat back systems is the best on our cars...thanks...

I have the HKS hiper system for a GST. I bought it in my days when I was just getting started in the whole car seen. I wanted to do something a little different then everyone else (they all seemed to be going the N1 route....but they were all hondas sooo...) Anyway I am very happy with the tone of the exhaust and get complimented on it a lot. It is not a ricey sound, a nice deep tone. I wish it was just a little louder but I actually just bought a downpipe that eliminates the cat so the sound should increase a little bit. The problem however is that I opted for a 3 inch downpipe since I know a lot more about what I'm doing now and I'm probably going to have to have an adapter made to go back down to 2.5 inches :thumbdown I know the N1 is a full 3 inches regardless of the model. I would way your options and figure out your goals. Another nice thing about the HKS catback is you get a VERY nice HKS logo engraved on the side. In short I'm happy with it.

They sound killer. Just get rid of the 2.25" crap on the cat-end of it. Have a muffler shop weld in a 3" piece and flange, and you will be good to go.

can i get true 3 inch piping hks exahust...i dont wanna get 2.75 or 2.5 i want 3 inch! also does the hks exhaust systems go under or over the rear suspension?

Mine fits under. It was a PITA trying to remove my stock out out from the rear suspension. I ended up cutting mine with a hack saw
