The rest stop is on 40, it's east of the intersection of 40 and 95. The plan is that we ARE meeting at Hooters around 3-3:30pm. But what I was trying to do was meet up the Raleigh/Durham/NC group with you guys on the way and we roll in together. We would meet on the way for everyone HOPEFULLY on time to stick with the plan of meeting in Wilm. at the already set time of 3:30. Not changing any times or paths here, just trying to pick up people along the way while still keeping on everyone's schedule.

Is this the area you are talking about? And Ziggy, does that fit your plan?

Sorry for the long address there. But basically the rest stop I was referring to is the white square next to Warsaw. This isn't set in stone and it was just an idea so I'm up for modifications. I only picked this spot because it was on the map, a rest stop will have plenty of parking for us and there would be plenty of signs for a rest stop. If the location you pointed out works better for you guys then I'm cool with that too I just don't know how the parking accomodations will be. I'm about 95% sure I'll be coming down with a truck and trailer so turning around for me is going to be tricky. Let me know, I'm up for a better plan.

Doug this park and ride you speak of is it off of E NC Highway 24? Or is it in the town of Warsaw?

It SHOULD be an actual rest stop directly in the middle of the East and Westbound lanes of 40. It is located West of Warsaw. If all else fails, after you get on 40 East just call me and tell me where you are (mile marker) and we'll find you guys.

Ok guy to make sure one last time that everybody knows the times for everything
we are coming up on 2 days here and i am very excited.

Marc(marcmsj),chris(anonymity) and myself(ziggysdsm) will all be stating at my house thursday night and will be heading down to wal mart in abingdon at 7am. From 7am-8am is when everyone needs to show up and get everything taken care of. We will meet in the back row like last time on the left hand side if your facing the store. at 8am we will be leaving the lot and heading out . i would suggest fueling up before you get there so we dont have to make alot of stops. We will stop on 301 after the bridge in va at the rest stop to stretch and use the bathroom. We will also be stopping around richmond to pick 97EclipseGSX up, so we can get fuel and food if need be.That way it should last us until we meet up with the guys in nc. it is about a 500mile trip each way so i dont plan on screwing around alot i want to make it there and back with no problems, i will give full notice of exits and turns when they come up just dont get too far ahead you might miss one. i will be taking pictures and if anyone has a video camera that would be great to tape some of it.


Bring WALKIE TALKIES if you have them I think greg has a spare one but i dont know

I'll have a digital cam corder and digi camera plus a laptop. I've made videos before of some of the other meets so if ya'll could also bring your cables to hook them up to a USB port that would be great. I can just copy everything you have on to the hard drive and I'll have plenty of material to work with. If I can get my act together I'll try and get a few copies of the videos too.

I'm also taking my spare 14b in case anyone blows a turbo . My shaft has very little in and out play but it's just enough to get a little bit of oil in my intake track, but I should be alright. I'll have that spare turbo and lots of tools in case anyone needs anything. I'll also bring spare belts.
