Anyone Rust protected with VHT?

VHT Rust Convertor

Anyone tried it? Im planning on rust proofing my car myself, looks like a good product. I plan on doing it myself so its not a half arsed job, to get every nook and cranny

all rust converters are based on phosphoric acid - the same thing that is in Coke.
I do not see any advantage to this stuff over the quart jugs of rust converter that you can buy a advance for about $6. With the liquid stuff, I used a small plastic container pour about 1/8 of an inch in it and treat the heads of my bolts. Black looks better than rust any day.

A local mechanic had some spray can of stuff that I was going to buy, I forget what its called now. Basically you spray it on and its like a oil and it hardens, he swears by it.
Is this rust converter stuff proven to work though?

sounds like he had "Extend" Ya all of this stuff is better than nothing.

It's a toss up, the spray is easier to use, but the jugs at advance go a lot further.
If you are going to treat with parts on car, spray it. If you can take them off, sand them, soak them in phosphoric acid and then paint them.

The donor car I used for awd conversion was a rust bucket, the rear carrier was solid rust. I wire brushed it, brushed on the jug stuff from advance, and then painted it with rustoleum. so far only one small spot has popped out.

I will be using spray, I plan on doing the whole underside and then some
