I was just wondering how benefical tru-power pulleys are. I have heard they help, but i just wanted to hear from someone who has them. how was installation/price/performance? all i have, is exhaust on the way, thanx

uh, i don't know about the exact brand but i know they help

its like doing a lightweight flywheel (comparable) all you are doing is using your motor less for turning accesories. if you have a amp and stereo i wouldn't recomend doing this, because with a optima red top and stock pullies, my alternator can't keep up with my stereo for sh!t and its nothing fancy.

i would axpect 7-12 hp depending on how modded you are and how much they decrease the spinning of your belts.

Tru-power pulleys are made by AEM. I haven't personally dealt with these yet but I am sure they will give you some power. All thet are are lighter and larger then the stockers so they spin the accessory's slower. This gives you a little extra power and allows the engine to rev more quickly. I personnally want the unorthodox racing pully set.
