Anyone got pics for alternator wiring?

I have a wire off the alternator that is hanging down and looks like it was pulled out of something. Anyone have a wiring diagram for the wires that come off the alternator? I checked the vfaq and dont see it.

I am assuming that you are talking about the wires that are in the same harness as the alternator plug. One attaches to the prong off the power steering to bump up the rpm to avoid stalling when turning. The other two are for oil temp and pressure.

So you can see the wire looks like it goes to that connector right next to where it is, but there is nothing coming out the other side so is this just a ground?

Isn't that where the original oil pressure switch was?

Judging by the picture it looks like someone installed an aftermarket market oil gauge and just disconnected the stock one.

Ok thanks. Do I need to hook this up anywhere? The previous owner did the gauges.

If the aftermarket gauge works I would leave it. If it doesent buy a new pressure switch and hook up that wire that's loose.
