Any shops do ECU cap replacement?

Nobody around here seems competent enough, so I'm looking for somewhere, preferrably a DSMtuners vendor, that does mail-in ecu cap replacement. I already have the caps, just need them installed. Anyone know who to call? Thanks.

It's really not hard at all to DIY.

I can do them in about 5 minutes, start to finish.

You might try DSMChips.com and see if he'll do it for ya.

PM Steve on here. He did mine and hes a really nice guy.

go to radio shack, spend 10 bucks on a soldering iron and some solder.. find an old circuit board to practice on, realize how brain dead easy soldering is, then do it yourslf and gain a very useful skill at the same time

Thanks? for the replies. I just happened to stop in some run-down shack of a TV repair shop today and some old guy did it right there on the counter with me watching. Got to learn a thing or two as well, and he was only going to charge me 5 bucks. I could tell he wasn't getting much business, so I ended up tipping him too and buying a surge protector that I don't need. For $20 it was worth it, he even repaired a little place that was slightly damaged by the leaking caps and cleaned it up.
