Nice to see people still responding to this thread! Unfortunately I haven't put much time or money into my DSM this summer. Most of my time has been spent with my Turbo Scirocco and trying to make it faster. I was hoping to have some things done this summer on the Talon but never found the time to get it done. I wanted to get a nice carbon fiber hood and possibly install a Nitrous system. These plans are still in the works but I'm happy to say my talon has been treating me good and is my daily driver.

Seems like you have a pretty good DSM scene up there in Ft Fun :)

I've seen a few DSM'ers out here in Westminster but haven't got a chance to meet any of them. I say we get another GTG going on either this Sunday at the same D&B location or possibly somewhere else. On the next drive I hope we can go on a bigger drive and possibly have a frined of mine do some filming.

So, I say we plan on a GTG for Sunday Afternoon around 5 pm at Dave & Buster of I36 and Church Ranch. If anyone is interested please reply on what date would work best. I'm thinking this Sunday the 5th or September the 12th. Whatcha ya'llz think? :thumb:

I wouldn't mind doing something again. Just make a time and by that Dave and Busters was a good location, because there was a nice big open parking lot.
 
Well since the weather seems rather questionable tomorrow so I say we tentatively plan this for Saturday the 11th @ 5:00 pm or Sunday the 12th at 5pm. :thumb:
 
Hey guys, I'm moving up to Denver on Sept 27th to go to school at the Art Institute of Colorado. I see a lot of people are from Ft. Collins but havn't seen anybody from Denver yet. Where are you guys at!?! I was really hopeing for a good dsm crowd up there, the one here in Columbia is awesome. We're having a meet on the 18th, and last year we had about 20-30 cars, it was great. So like I said, if anybody is from Denver PM me or reply to this thread and hopefully I'll see you guys when I head up there.

Well guys looks like its going to be a nice weekend so we should hook up and do this! I'm thinking we should meet up either Saturday at the D&B parking lot at around 5pm or Sunday at 5pm. What day would work best for you guys? Post and lets make the most of this GTG! :thumb: Get your DSM ready and try and get somebody that might be able to do some filming so when we go on a short cruise maybe do some filming! I'll try and see if my friend could do some filming but I think he is working. Either way, lets hang out and try and make this big!

I don't think the DSM scene in Denver is really that good. It's mostly the surrounding areas like Boulder, Littleton, Westminster, etc. But, you'll be able to meet up with DSM'ers outside of Denver because these spots were meeting at are just minutes out of Denver.
 
Thanks for the info talon94es. I don't really mind driving 20 min to boulder or somethin like that. I guess I'll just have to race the ferraris and lamborghinis here in Denver haha. Hopefully someday I will be able to take them. I guess I should start by getting that talon in my sig first haha. Well hopefully I'll see some of you in Oct at a meet or somethin.

I'm down for Sunday in the Old Vans skate park parking lot behind D&B if the weather looks decent. I can't make it any other day this week. Lets see how it looks on Friday or Saturday for Sundays forcast. :thumb:
 
There's a DSM meet by D&B? Count me in! I'd love to show up and meet some people.
DannyD, I saw you were behind me on the road over summer, and you of course live in Highlands Ranch... you want to cruise up together whenever the meet is?
Just let me know.
 
Yep. Evildsmr, Zeppelin and myself have all decided to meet up at 4:30 in the parking lot Right behind D & B at the old skate park. Same spot as the other meet we had. Weather is looking pretty good so it should be a good time. We'll probably hang for a few and then go for a quick cruise (I know a pretty good loop) and head back to D & B and play some games. So, hope to see lots of DSMs!

Due to the dismal turnout on these last GTG's I won't be planning anymore GTG's. Luckly, Zeppelin showed up at the last one and we still went and played some Vids at D & B and hung so that was cool. Hope you all have a good winter. Peace out. I'm going back to hanging with the VW people at the local scene.

Well unfortunately I won't be doing AWD burnouts but my DSM will be a full-time winter car this Winter for the first time since I bought it 3 years ago. It now has good snow tires so I'll be ready to rip it up. Might not be as fun as AWD but it's better then nothing. I really liked the snow when I had my GSX :)
 
Yesterday I saw a beautiful orange 2g sitting on stock wheels and a turbo back exhaust at Cali Pizza Kitchen yesterday. If you're on this site..... Nice car. :thumb:

I'll be at high school drags on the 6th but not with my car :| cuz i'm really poor and can't afford to race my car plus i just got it fixed but the stupid check engine light is still on, i was told it just needs to be reset and i havent found anything wrong yet, but i wanna get it thoroughly checked before I race so I"m just goin down with some guys taht are racing...hope to see some DSMs though!

Yeah, there are quite a few DSM's in Ft. Collins. I saw alot rolling down college, and most of my friends own DSM's that live up there. I think Ft. Collins would be a good place for a meet. I would be willing to make the drive.
 
yeah cobra ran 12.0 too, evo ran 12.0, rx7 ran 12.1. Rx7's, Evo's, Cobra's, Blown 5.0's, old muscle, you name it I have seen it there, syclones, ty's, even a turbo regal runnin 28 psi one night! OH man I am gettin all excited just thinking about next sunday. hopefully the weather holds up.
 
See now I was just talkin to Sk8er07999 sayin that me and him should schedule a meet but then i go and read 94talones's posts and its like whats to say that anybody will show up at our meet either?

I think there would be more time to get a meet going. I went to the first one and had a great time but it was just 4 of us, and as of right now Sundays do not work too well with me. I would love to go to another meet, but I just don't go to DSMTuners that much and when i do it is too late. If there was a Saturday meet I would be able to make it, possibly friday too.
