Sup guys, another guy here who just switched to SD and cant get the idle down.

I did what I had to do to get airflow per rev and combined fuel trim inline. But no matter what I do the AFR's are way lean so of course it idles really rough. AFR's are high 15's to 17.

My wideband is not wired in for logging.

Mods are as follows:
97 GST, Stock engine, Speed Density, AEM UEGO, Link V3, FIC 1000cc's, Holset HX40 w/BEP bolt on housing, FP Race mani, Tial MVS 38mm w/Punishment O2 housing, FP intake, HKS SSQV4 BOV, ETS Street FMIC, Megan DP, 3in catback, Fuel Lab FPR, Walbro 255hp rewired, Dynatek ARC2, ACT Streetlite Flywheel, ACT 2600PP, SB Kevlar Disc, Shep Stg 2 Trans w/ Quiafe, Mishimoto X-line Rad

You sure you just don't have an exhaust leak before the wideband? Seems like you stock o2 is cycling okay and things are inline... .

Either way it would be a good Idea to get the Wideband logging if you want any real advice.

As well just one note on your tune... .
Do you realize that you minoctane timing map has MORE timing then your max in quite a few areas?

I started to suspect that as well when I could do nothing to get my wideband to read correctly. And that's exactly what it was! Only found them because I had to swap my turbo out.

About it idling rough. I forgot the basemap I went off of had more timing at idle. I put it back to 5 and it smoothed it out.

You know, I guess I just forgot about the min octane table. I was under the impression it's rarely used? Either way I know I should copy the max table over to it at least. I'll do that today.

Oh and thanks for the reply!

Glad you got it taken care of...

One of the nice things about not getting rid of a Narrowband for Wideband simulation is they work well at doing their one job, and it gives you a reference that things are right if your wideband is not reading right.

As far as the Min and max tables I'd load something in the Min table with a few degrees timing pulled at the minimum vs the MAX as a precaution just to be safe :)
