so i just got my eclipse were i want it for the summer. i went to the track the other day. and i took on a suby STI and i finally woopped down on him with my front wheel drive 4g63t. and i took off and my first thought was. im gonna get powned. and amazing. i past him shifting into second. and yeah. i beat him. and after i was thinking. hmm... how did a beat a partly built up STI. my thoughts were. either my car is finaly fast. or that guy sucks at driving. but yeah. anythoughts on why my fwd would beat him?
all i have is an evolution head. garrett T28 turbo with a custom greddy intake\intercooler kit. i have my intake mani. customed. i also have a full apex 3' exhaust. i have a pair of tenzo overdose wheels on it. i got some weight reduction not much. i have koni yellows with tien coilover. i have aem cam gears. i have brembo brakes. i have a ebay short shifter.(###### should get a diffrent short shifter). i have toyo's on my wheels. i have all of my internals in the block done. but i didnt think today i would be wooping a Half built STI's ass.... so. whats the deal with me beating him. should i have beat him. or was it luck?

I wanna see your time slip. 11s for a t28 is incredible. you must have had a 60 foot time in the negative numbers to pull that one off.

It would be possible for him to have a shitty tune or be bad at driving. A car capable of 400hp can make 250 or less tuned bad.
