Hey guys,

I recently found a 2g with lots of work done to it at a local pick and pull near me. I found this exhaust manifold and got it for $29 or so. My current manifold has cracks and so this manifold seemed great as it is in good condition and was a great price.

Sorry for the millionth post about the difference between the Evo 3 Manifold and 2g Manifold, but this manifold was already ported when I found it and so I cannot tell what car it originally came from.

It would bring me peace of mind if someone could give me an answer as to which manifold this is, but either way I am going to put it on my car. I took a bunch of different pictures and will post the best ones.

From my understanding, the differences between the two are that the Evo has a larger (7 cm) collector and the casting is more substantial.. The reason I believe it COULD be an Evo 3 exhaust manifold is that the runners have what looks to be more casting, while the 2g manifold I have on my current set up is more smooth on the runners.

I will post more pictures from my phone. The files are too large to post on my computer I guess.

Thanks in advance for the help.

looks more like an evo 3 manifold to me, cuz the center divider is more off-set toward the motor. either way, looks like a decent lil port job, and as long as your hotside is appropriately ported then itd be a nice lil upgrade.

Thanks man! Ya it was already ported, but i polished it up a little. I have no experience porting, but i am eager to learn. My turbine and 02 housings are not ported at the moment, but will be once i get a little practice in.

Any gains to porting a t-25?

awesome man, good find and it looks good

best thing too remember is its the material you dont remove in porting. doesnt take much and honestly the best way is to read alot, look at alot of pics, jump in and do it. taking your time is essential, and patience will be needed.

i put in 12 hours on roughing up my 7MGE dohc head, then another 6 finish sanding and polishing it. but i gained quite a bit when i took it to the flow bench and it was all uniform within 1-2 cfm per port.
