Ok tonight i was driving to my moms house and i the car started to make a scratching sound from the motor and it was very loud and i don't know what it is. PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!! someone help i have no idea what happend its not knocking like it did on the 7-bolt. But it won't turn all the way over and i can't be without my car so i need it back as soon as possible any ideas?

and i just got it back like a week ago

no the bearing should be ok it not knocking like it did last time that happend. I hope it didn't break a ring... when they built the motor they used 20 over rings because the block had been honed twice and the stock piston rings were to small but the 20 overs were to big so they cut the rings to match the bore that was there. Do you think that is what happend.....?

You said there is a scratching noise are you sure it's coming from the engine or could it be coming from the tranny, mine made a that same noise when the flywheel wasn't on tight enough and start to come loose.

I would just ck to make sure that it is coming from the engine and go from there, oh and how long did it get rebuilt.

it also sounded like the starter was just spinning and not making a connection with the flywheel so that is the best anwser Ive gotten. Thank you The people who did the car will be fixing that problem very soon
