As my heater core is out, i want to make AN fittings on heater core pipes,so i could use a ss braided lines from thermostat housing to heater core for making my engine bay nicer. The question thats bothering me is:

Is it better to weld a brass AN fitting on the heater core pipes or just make a threads on a pipes?? Ive seen alot of AN fittings ,that could be welded on ,but don't know if anyone could just make me a threads on brass pipes..... Any suggestions are welcome..... Thanks

Weld brass in the heater core, i wouldnt might brake the heater core brass openings that face the bay, too risky to me for that set up.

You can also use an AN tube nut and sleeve combined with flaring the core tubes to 37 degrees
