Hi, I just got this amplifier for free, please help me pick a sub-woofer since im not sure which is perfect for this amp. My limit is around $150 for a woofer. Also, give me your inputs if you have another subwoofer in mind that will be perfect for this amp.

This is my amp:

Kicker - CompVR 12" Dual-Voice-Coil 2-Ohm Subwoofer - CVR122

Kenwood - 12" 4-Ohm Single-Voice-Coil Subwoofer - KFC-W3012

Are you convinced you want a 12 inch sub? I have a 10" JL Audio sub that will be plenty for the GSX (it was for my 3g as well). As far as price, $150 isn't too bad. I would avoid best buy though, as their mark-up is ridiculous.

You can get JL, Audiobahn, and just about every other brands subwoofers for a great price. I've done business with them and highly recommend them.

dude just give that amp back and get urself a soundstream. doesnt heat up at all will always bump ## bass to the maxx!

Don't buy from best buy. They rip you off. I have had very good experiences with ebay and buying car audio. You might want to look into two tens or a single like an earlier post mentioned. Those two 12's are pretty junky if you ask me.
