Am I too big for my seats?

I picked up a pair of Corbeau fx1 pro's and just got around to installing them. I also have a 5 point harness that goes along with that. When I sit down Im pretty much sitting on top of the sub belt hole. So if the sub belt would be fastened it would need to wrap around my junk as the belt comes up right around my guch. Im 6'2' about 190lbs, should the sub belt hole be this far back into the seat or am I just simply to big for the fx1 pro? I bought them this past summer so I dont know if I could just exchange them or if I have to modify them somehow.

Sounds like your a little big for them but try strapping it up and tightening it.

## too big. But do they have any kind of insert installed? I am 6'3 175 and fit with my kirkeys and a 5 point. And those are a budget seat with only a width option. I don't know what u meant by modifng it, but that's probably not a good idea if you are trying to be legal for somthing. The 5th belt should not wrap around ## whole crotch. Once secured it should have only slight pressure on the fly portion.

No you are not "too big"

The belt will be more or less below you and you will pull it up to the fastener. It's supposed to be tight around your crotch so you don't slip forward in an accident.

You can loosen the belt, but it should be firm against your crotch. It's not made to fit like a pair of basketball shorts.

Bingo.
It's an anti-submarine belt, it's meant to keep you from slipping down in an accident.

I was always under the impression that the sub belt hole should be slightly in front of the crotch, not underneath it?
