am i running stock boost lines right?

okay, i bought the car with an MBC on it and after the 3" turboback and blown turbo seal i'm getting massive creep [ 22 psi + ]

so the shop took out the boost controller and reran the lines.. 1 line from the manifold to greddy type s.. the other from the wastegate actuator to the nipple on the injen intake arm..

i believe my buddy sean said it was put that way so i can have the excess air recirculated ..

any ideas on that? is that the way it was hosed stock?

from the intake to the wastegate? thats not right, theres no pressure in the intake to open the wastegate. So, your not creeping to 22, you are just not even opening the wastegate.

go from the manifold with a "T" fitting to the wastegate and the BOV, and plug the hole in the intake tube.

Depending on which line your talking about if this question isn't answered by about 7pm tonite I can run outside once I get off work and snap a few pics. Load them onto the site so you can honestly see where the lines go. I'm sure it will be taken care of by then tho.

Put the BC back in the car.

What would happen if you didn't "T" the fitting and only ran the hose from the wastegate to the BOV??? so it wouldn't go to the IM

That would be an incorrect way to hookup the turbo surely.
Just hook everything up according to the rules bro.

again, you do not have a boost source to open the wastegate. The only 2 boost sources are the intake mani, and the turbo (if it has a nipple) You need a boost source to activate your BOV and your wastegate.

Well I dont have a "T" fitting, I'm was gonna put one in today....but rain sucks and i dont have a garage....anyway....I drove it like that for acouple of days and i boosted to like 8 psi i think and BOV sounded good?

Dont get me wrong I'm def putting it in tho.. what size line is it suposed to be 1/4?

well i just fixed my boost problem and she's fine!

i ran a line from manifold to type s... t-ed that line and ran it into the wastegate.. now she boosts 11 psi no problems

and yea, i used a 1/4" T and 3/8" hosing

Yeah all I had was 3/16 and that is way to small, gonna go today and pick some up...b4 i was boosting at 8psi hopefully this will raise it alil... thanks
