Ok so i just read that a 98 galant 90 amp alternator is direct bolt on. I just wanna be absolutely positive before i drop any money on it?

There is a 90 amp option for DSMs as well. They came stock on Canadian cars because of daytime running lights.

yah i read that as well, but i dont want to have to look for it. Im just going to get one from the parts store. Thats why i wanna make sure it will work?

Yes, It is a DIRECT bolt on. This is based on 96'Tsi and 98'GALANT. Same Part # 13585 & mounting brackets.

All the major parts stores sell 90 amp DSM alternators. That's why I'm not sure why you are looking at a Galant alt.

Auto Parts Tomorrow | ACDelco, Bendix Brakes, Denso, Motorcraft and more. I ordered a Delphi for mine last year. Free overnight delivery. It was only like $118 shipped to the door for a Galant alternator. Bolted right in. Looks just like a stock DSM alternator, except more amperage.
