i install 90 Amps alternator on my 95 gst after installation when i start engine like 5 minutes voltage is very high 16.3V and after 20 minutes voltage is never stable going from 12,8 to 16.3 when i turn lights on every lights pulse what is this ???? when i drive like 40 minutes voltage almost stay on 14.4V just press the brake or change lights from lo to high and voltage bouncing again ,ground perfect positive cable is new, maybe bad new alternator ???

Was the alternator new or used? On alternators are voltage regulators that usually go bad and cause this symptom. If the alternator is spun fast enough it will hold charge but at idle rpm's it will start to lose voltage. Over time you will see a big decrease and one day the alt may day. If its new you should have a warranty with it.

voltage targets is 14.0v +- 1.0 across the board

Be careful with that because a busted voltage regulator can fry an ecu, along with a mess of other components.

brand new alternator i never buy electrical or electronic used parts , voltage increase like 17.2 and ecu shut down car i disconnect alternator and drive from work on battery only .
i exchange for new today and everything back to normal voltage 14.1V all time now. :D
