1G alternator safety relay

ok again ive done lots of research buit thee only thing i can find is about the 2g. i need to know if the alternator safety relay (yes i know its not an actual relay) on a 1g can cause a no charge problem. ive run out of things to check..... and am at a complete loss, i went ahead and had the dealership order one, i didnt have to pay for it yet and it is 40 dollars so if i can avoid getting it, i would be very happy. also i apologize for creating another thread since my last one is fallen away for ever.

i had a problem with my 1g doin the same thing , i had a fuse in the fuse box to the left of the engine bay its near the edge and bolted in place.. try it , that was my problem

its already been replaced. like have tried virtually everything... this the piece of the charging sytem, that hasnt been replaced. ive been checking for resistance and all the grounds are good and flowwing well. they alternator was tested once after i bought it, it was a remaned mistu alt. it test good right at 14.6 soo... i might try and have them warranty it just because im running out of things that would keep my car from charging.

The alt relay is a backup path to provide voltage to the alt field coil (which is necessary for proper alt operation) in case the dash charge light burns out. As long as the dash charge light works the alt relay is unnecessary.
