Ok, I am a bit confused about how the alternator is wired. I of course know that there is a bundle of wires that connect back to the battery to charge it. I am also sure that I have the wiring harness plugged in. Someone informed me that if you don't plug in the "yellow" wire then the alternator would die shortly after. I do have a single 12 or 14 gauge wire hanging in the front of the harnes but am unsure if this is for the alternator or one of my gauges that aren't working. The car is a 95 gsx with a 6 bolt swap. Any help would be appreciated.
