hot import nights are kinda biased, being that my car isnt a trailor queen, even with the paint job and body work, i dont think my car is hot import night material. ,my interior is gutted from the front seats back, no bling bling under the hood besides a polished fmic and bigass blower. i know my car might dominate in exterior but, as far as interior, two tvs, a ps2, and alot of guages is all i have. and under the hood, i run the car, hard, pointless for me to bling under the hood, ya know.

yeah i got ya, my interior wont be done either, but im just not gonna show the inside. but as far as under the hood, my mounts, valve cover, water neck, brake master cylinder, clutch master sylinder, turbo, fuel rail, and soemother stuff is polished. i will probably run mine every once and a while but i aint gonna beat on it to bad. and yeah i will be one of those trailer guys, cuz i aint drivin it all the way to chicago from here. i dont want the rock chips and plus the shakin gets kinda annoyin after awhile.( form the mounts, no balance shafts, and the cams. not to mention the harsh a$$ clutch)
i plan on goin to other ones though to, that just gonna be the first one this year.

The widebody kaminari fenders are ok to me but I dont like the sides, front or rear bumper... It looks a little too 2GA for IMO, I would have to go with alternate bumpers and sides. Your car looks awesome none-the-less, keep up the good work.

NCCA is not biased.... YOu need a top car and a complete car to show. Mine will be taken off th etrailor and shown and my whoel is done. How is that biased. I have full chromed engine, FUll khamaleon paint job with airbrushing, FUll khamealeon and carbon fiber interior, air ride and full system with engine mods and I know i wont best of show. You build a car because u love to do it. And you show ur car because u enjoy to show it. IM not being a dick but i have over 50k on the outside of my car and im hoping i win hottest exterior but i dont know yet. There is nothing else i can do to the exterior. My spyder has everything but a a carbon roof but that is coming by July. SO plz dont say soemthing is biased.

is it just me, or is the whole Kameleon paint job played out a little, and getting old? you just don't see it at shows much anymore. Personally, i was never a fan, but even less now that it's "old-school"

Yea when they made me a custom color of khameleon thats really played out...

its not hard to make a custom color of kameleon, all they do is mix different colors of kameleon together....you talkin like they made a custom pigmented color of kameleon just for you. unless its some different company, house of kolor wont do that. but as far as i know the only other brand of kameleon is ppg (harlequin) its the same as house of kolor kameleon but ppg harlequin has smaller prizm pigments, which allows for a kinda brighter color, but i doubt ppg will even make a custom harlequin(kameleon) just for one guy, when it takes so much to make the colors both companies already have.

i mean i have a custom kolor of kameleon......i used blue-red and purple to orange, and put it over bc-08 nova orange(instead of putting it over black, like your suppsed to), which made the orange in the paint to change a bright a$$ tangerine as a main color

It's still Khameleon.

Why would sponsors not want you to show pics? isn't that the whole point of Sponsorship? to be seen?? for advertisement? I know when I got some of my Alpine stereo equipment through sponsorship, they stressed how important exposure is.

ive been a judge at a couple of east coast shows last year, i know judges are biased at some of the events, hin is one of them. they dont like see full bred street cars, that are meant to lay some killer hp numbers, be driven everyday, and better yet look awesome. they like trailor queens bottomline, and that my car isnt.

im not downing your ride, but your talking you want to win best of show
its not happenin with kameleon paint, a wings west front end, and some ebay r1 seats.

ive been in this game for 5 years, ive built several show/race cars, i know what it takes, this time around it may look like a show car, but this car is built to trap 125 mph in the quarter.

with that said, ill see you in carsile this year, i hope its together, either way, im taking 1st place

yeah, i feel what widebodied is sayin, but i dont care i will still be at shows and drive and RACE my car all the time.but like he said and alot of other people said, kameleon paint aint goona get you best of show, its kinda played out.
i am kinda sick of the kameleon on my catera, but it catches the eye, thats the only reason i did it. i sure aint tryin to win no awards with that car either, it will never be in a show of any kind, thats my daily driver, and it was my winter car for half the winter till i got my tahoe.

it was a SUPER tight fit, I had a balast crap out on me so that picture is of some 8300k 9006 bulbs with balasts that i "fit" into the projectors () going to pick up another balast to run the original bulbs soon, but im having a major issue with lense clearity, the stock Talon headlight lenses have lines graded in them, i tryed to sand them out but it came out looking like shit so im now searching for clear lenses

project isnt finished yet, but i got the majority of it done.

I dont have a camera for a couple days so ill just describe what i did...

First off am i the only one that thinks the cig. lighter in the 1g's is in a pain in the ass position? well i decided to cure that by taking the hole unit out and opening the hole a tad then just added a kenwood flushmount tweater in it's place, the hole process took about 20min.

How are you sanding it? Start w/ really low grit sandpaper (100), then work your way up to 1000-1500 grit (wet or dry sandpaper) using water. Then use 3M rubbing compound w/ a 3000 RPM polisher or anything that will spin at least 3000 RPM w/ wool pad or polishing pad. (maybe your dremel w/ a polishing pad, it should spin fast enough). This should make them shine again.
