All clear tails, paint center or not?

So I picked up a set of the rare all clear tail lights from a member on here.
They look great and are in excellent condition.
Now I'm trying to figure out, rather I should paint the center section to match the car or leave them all clear.
I have extra sets of tail lights, so regardless I won't paint the clear center piece.
I just wanted opinions from my fellow DSMer's

i had a clear center for about 3 days and went bak to the stock center cause i just didnt like the clear one. when i changed it back everyone that noticed said that it looked alot better with the stock center back in and they just didnt want to tell me the clear one looked generic or out of place. so in my and all my friends opinion go stock with the center piece.

Is your car red? I always like the center piece painted to match the paint, never liked the 3 piece light thing.

My car is at the body shop getting paint and I am having the center piece painted to match the color of my car. I don't really like the clear taillight in the middle look. If it works for you thats cool, but I think the color matched center piece is a better look.

yup just paint the stock center piece to match your car. it will look way better

I'm probably going to try both ways and take a pictures.

paint it.. i hate the full 3 peice tails, looks much better painted or stock imo.

Paint the stock center. Leave the clear alone for when you decide to resell.
