I just got an alignment print-out today. I lowered the car a couple weeks ago. I do not have a whole lot of knowledge on camber, caster, and toe. I was wondering if someone could tell me how bad the print-out is.
Left front: Right front:
-2.0 camber -1.8
4.0 caster 3.9
-0.20 toe -0.26

Left rear: Right rear:
-2.3 camber -2.6
0.27 toe 0.23

I bought the Tokico HP shocks & springs if it matters. How bad do I need a camber kit? I need new tires soon. So I don't think it would hurt to go ahead and wear these down some. I've seen camber kits that adjust at up to 1.0, 1.5, 2.0. I'm assuming I would need one that would adjust up to 2.0. Sorry for the newbie questions and thanks for the replies in advance. Also there are some other numbers on the print-out if you need any just let me know. Thanks

Well, it looks like the toe is alright, but the camber on both ends is way off for street driving, unless you take it to the track everyday.

You should be able to fix the rear camber with the "washer mod" and fine adjust it with the rear toe arm, but the fronts your going to need a new camber kit that can put it back to spec (i.e. id go with a +3 -3 one).

Thats what I figured. I don't go to the track just to college and work. What kit do you recommend? An e-bay special or something else? Thanks again

Nope. No ebay specials here. Get a name brand like Ingalls or similar. There are a few, i just cant remember them. Search for "camber kit" and you should find plenty.

SPC" or "Specialty Products Company" alignment parts makes an adjustable upper control arm ball joint for the front. Most alignment places carry or can get their products. They run about the same price as the more conventional camber kits, and are a helluva lot easier to install...at least for me it was. My camber readings were about the same as what you have and it took care of the problem. As far as the backs, what mitsugsx95 said, longer bolts and add washers fixes it right up.

I'll look into what you suggested. Thanks for the replies.

You don't need a front camber kit. 2 degrees is fine, especially on an AWD, as long as you delete the front toe-out. The rear camber can and should be reduced using washers. You can keep the rear toe-in if you wish, or bring it closer to zero.

How do I go about removing the toe out? Do I need to buy anything or will a alignment fix it? I didn't have the car aligned yesterday. I just had them put it up so I could get an idea where I was. Thanks

Front toe is adjusted on the steering arms. Rear toe is adjusted using the cams on the toe-arms. No kit is needed. But you could do the alignment people a big favor and start squirting PB'laster or Thrust or WD40 at the rear toe-arms starting today.

One more question. About how many washers do you think I should use in the rear? thickness of them? I also seen a site on here for ordering the longer bolts but can't find it now. So if someone has that site or should I just go to home depot? Thanks again.

How many depends on the thickness of each washer. Use approximately 1/8" to 3/16" of washers behind the upper arm pivots.

EDIT: Read below post. My vehicle is lowered only 1" thus my suggestion would be inadequate for a vehicle lowered more than this. I stand corrected.

Actually, he wants to take out about a degree, so he needs more like 3/8" of washers, which is my standard suggestion for ProKits and such. I have posted the formula before, in case you want to know why this amount is correct and/or want to see why searching a good thing to do: http://dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=87569

The bolts you needs are M10x1.25 40mm
