I was cruising around the auto parts stores and at pep-boys :| I found a 3-or 4 inch chrome flexibale intake pipe .I was going to use this and mod it for the bov tube..Then connect the other two lines on our stock intake to there own air filters..I already checked to see if everything will fit and it all looked good ..But I heard somewhere that you can only upgrade the air intake pipe if you have a 2g mas or something is that true ..Or can I try this flexibal intake pipe (make my own intake pipe) :D and see how it works out ...What do you think

You can upgrade the intake pipe whether is a 1g, 2g or GM MAF. It doesn't matter what MAF you have. Also, upgrading that pipe will improve on spoolup and makes the BOV sound louder via your air filter.

Edit: You will also the sound of the turbo spool alot better. Just make sure you do it right.

Thanx guys..Im not trying to be cheap .I just think it sounds like a good idea I checked all the kinks already and with the t-clamp it will fit on my 14b very tight and it will flex enough to fit right where my custom air ram is ..I also made the air intake for my ford probe because there wasnt one for it and it worked very very well the turbo did spool alot better and the bov sound was alot louder like fly talon said..I didnt see this pipe and just think wow thats cool im going to put it on my car  I have made a couple good intakes with less :thumb: :dsm:
