Hi, I have a question about my AFR (air fuel ratio). It fluctuates between 10.8, 11.0 and 11.6 when starting the engine.
Is this normal, too lean or too rich? And when stepping on the gas it will fluctuate between 14 to 17.
Let me know if this is normal, ok or too lean or too rich? thanks indvance.

What brand AFR gauge do you have? Typically you should see around 14.7 during idle. Cruising / partial throttle will usually hover around the same as well. I believe open-loop should result in the standard 14.7 AFR's on a factory tune as well, but could be wrong and may be more on the rich side. I'll let someone chime in on that.

WOT = should be generally rich around 10/11. Are you tuned?

That is in the right area if you are talking about a cold start, first start of the day, especially if it was cool overnight.
Watch my cold start video where I show my AFR gauge and ECMLink screen after a 40 deg F start.
You'll see later in the vid where I blip the throttle lightly a couple times that my AFR's get wanky around those blips - still warming up and just sitting there in neutral. It's different of course when you are driving, under load, and it's all warmed up.

My car is way modified so it might not be a "model" example, but it was setup by pros and it runs very good.
I don't have any FIAV for example, I just have a good working ISC.
Open the video description field and read that, it will help you get more from the video.

I have Prosport AFR gauge

Yes, the car was remote tuned through 2g black box ECU (98-99 Eclipse GST, GSX ECU).
