I got the AGP FMIC Kit for my 2gen. I have a 6 bolt motor in my car with a 1gen cas, Throttle Body, Intake, etc. I ordered the kit with a Tial BOV Flange and I can't shut the hood with it on. Do any of you have a 6 bolt in your car and if so where is the flange for the BOV. I will have to call AGP on Mon and see if they can make me pipes with the Flange on the mid pipe or something. If you have any ideas or pics of your set-up that might help too. Thanks
Adam

Holy crap. I got the pipes for a 3" gm mas in blowthru so my bov is pretty close to the ic outlet and on the bottom side of the pipe.

I would just call them or email them that pic.

I sent them an e-mail this morning and will call them when they open on Monday. I might just go and order the GM Maf set up since I have to get new pipes anyway. It just kills me cause I just got done putting on my 3065 and can't start her up yet. Looks like the Talon will be on jack stands for another few weeks. Atleast it cant break if I don't drive it.

BTW do you have any pics of your engine set-up?

If you get the GM maf setup tell them their pipes they sent me were just slightly short, I have to stretch the couplers to the max, barely on each pipe. I weld to napa and bought a long piece of coupler for where the upper pipe hooks to the ic outlet, problem solved. Maybe just ask if they can send a coupler twice as long for that spot.
And they also dont include the couplers for teh GM mas. They are $22 each from RRE, ouch.

Ill try to get pics later.

98tsiawd LOL he made them pipes for my car. with the gm mas and the tial mounted to the ground. i think mine where the first pipes to be made like this and i had to send the pipes back to get redone because it was hitting my intake pipe at first.

not to bash on agp because kevin is a great buy and there stuff the make is alsome but i cant stand the uicp they gave me for this fmic. i dont like the way there so close to my rad hoses and where the gm mas is, and where my bov is. i asked if they could make me new ones but he said no so i guess im gonna have to have them custom made at ams to be fixed. i want more of a 90* bend out of the t/b and then straight down to the fmic with the gm mas mounted closer to the t/b and the bov in stock location, so i could use my br cold air intake pipe.

Does your GM mas also rest on the top of the tranny, putting stress on the tb elbow welds/intake manny welds?

We (AGP) are no longer doing the UIP for the GM MAF. It's just too hard to fit everything on that one pipe and make it clear everything and fit well. We did just realize that we can't put the TIAL flange in the same place as we put the 1G/typeS BOV flange cause the TIAl is just too darn tall. We're going to make 'Turbo 2g awd' some new pipes to fix these issues.
