I've heard a lot about 1g maf's not being able to handle high amounts of flow...
apparently 'full throttle tech' has a 3.5" gm sensor with a 'translator'....
I can't seem to find any good information about switching to the gm sensor on either site...does anyone have a guide on how to do this conversion?? pros/cons? I've seen hints that the gm can be placed after the bov to allow atm venting?(not that it would increase performance, but it sounds nice
Is the translator required to convert the signal into something our ecus understand, or is it purely for tuning?
Does anyone have solid numbers showing (approximate)maximum flow rates of each?
If someone would point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it
thanks
