Like every other thread I start on here i'll have to start out by saying
YES I'VE SEARCHED.
With that out of the way.
I am going to be installing a
small 16G
190 Walbro rewired of course
SAFC
550's.

I have a logger, intake, UICP with upper s pipe. 3 inch mandrel bent cat back. 1G BOV.

Question is...will i need an AFPR???

Gas is 92 octane around here. Might just go up to $4.00 a gallon soon though.
Thanks in advance.

afpr= adjustable fuel pressure regulator.

as far as do u need one? you defintetly need something, whether and afpr, fuel management, maft, etc. i have 550s on a rewired walbro 255 and i was drowning the crap out of my engine for a long time. now im using SAFCII and my afr's are pretty well in range.

EDIT: i just re-read your post, i didnt realize you have a SAFC already. so no you shouldnt need an AFPR, but if anyone else sees a reason why he would, feel free to correct me LOL

A re-wired 190LPH Walbro will not overrun the stock FPR so will not need an aftermarket AFPR (I know as I had one for many years :D ).

It also flows enough to support ~420HP so will likely run out of injector (550s) before the pump :dsm:
