2G Aeromotive afpr return fitting

I purchased an aeromotive afpr with all the lines. They all are 8-an for the feed and return.
My problem is the return nipple is much bigger than the return hose size. It was working for a while but started to leak. So I ordered a 6-an barb to 7mm which does not work because the return on this afpr is 8-an. I can not find a 8-an to 7mm barb anywhere.
I am just using a rubber fuel hose for the return. Anyone have any suggestions?

Did you get one of the X1 series regulators? what size is your return hose? if your running a 8AN feed, you should have a 6AN return. Cant you just swap the outlet fitting for this one and run a 6AN return if your not already?

All of the inlets are 8AN. For the feed and the return

that regulator usually comes with 6AN ports

can you verify the regulator is part number 13105
if you can post up the part # for the regulator , it will be easy to track down the fitting you need.

Not sure of the part number but it's the eBay link and they def all 8-an ports. It came with a barb fitting for the return but it's big. Pretty sure it 3/8

this is the difference between a 1g (left) and 2g (right) return line sizes. the 1g will fit a 6AN line but the 2g will fit a 4AN line

Why not just get a -8 to -6 adapter then go from there.

I didn't want to go this route because this way adds more fittings than needed.
