alright im gonna be stayin non turbo for a while and im planning on buying an intake in a week or so, and i cant decide between AEM brute force or v2, which is better and what are the differences?

I didn't realize the Brute Force was made for our engines, I thought it was specifically made for trucks. At least, that's how AEM showcased it at SEMA. Just do your research on it. AEM has dyno charts for most of thier products on thier site.

The difference between most intakes is minute. They grant you anywhere from 5-10 horsepower at most. There are some CAI's that my friends have made that they claim gets more horsepower than their previous AEM intake. Although they provided no proof, you shouldn't spend $100+ on a metal tube and filter.

I have an aem v2 and I am more than pleased with it. I found a great deal on ebay for one and you should be able to find one too. The intake has a real nice sound at WOT and you can feel it pull at higher rpms.

I do agree on the sound and pull at WOT, but the gains are not worth the cost (new or used).
