Is the v1 just the regular old intake that aem has? I was lookin on nopi and all they had was the regular intake and the v2... Right now i have an iceman intake on my car (I am borrowing it from a friend b/c his motor went boom) and it seems to have decent gains. It has 2 different size pipes like the v2 does plus it is cheaper... Doesnt look all that great tho...

uh they have a short ram intake, which is just like a hard pipe stock replacement with a cone filter, and a cold air intake which puts the filter in the port hole. look at my first post, you can see my filter in my bumber

The "V1" is the regular CAI.

Where ever you're looking at, it should state whether it is a "Short Ram" or CAI.

Thanx for all the responses guys, I know for a fact I do not want a short ram intake.

There seems to be a lot of different responses to this thread. Keep the replies coming!
