again, my GUESS is that you put the positive wire in the ecu and ground the other wires. I dunno tho.

I will give it a try 2night and post. When I wire it up and I do a log what will I be looking for the EGR temp to display the signal?

Thanks

I just got the ECU out. So I will be posting up in a bit how it went and probably some questions.

Ok, so I tapped into pin 15 which is the EGR temp. The wire is blue with a yellow stripe if anyone is interested. When its not hooked up it displays -27ish then when its hooked up it reads 110ish . What am I suppose to do with a temp reading? Am I missing something here?

you have to change the type of sensor from temp to wideband o2, let me go get my palm finally, and solve this once and for all. brb

edit:
in the main mmcd menu, the one with all your logs listed, tap mmcd, then options, then preferences, where it says egrt click on 3.0 bar and then wideband o2

simple as that, and btw thats with version 1.8g only, for those of you using earlier versions

Thats my problem. I dont have the newer version. Do you have the link to where I can download it?

Another problem I ran into. After working down there my throttle % on the SAFC stopped registering. I checked the connection several times and its fine. Still no signal thoo..

the link to 3si.org I posted has it. just scroll to the bottom of the first post, its there.

Any idea on whats up with the throttle % on the SAFC? The connection is fine I checked it and even tried adjusting it while the car was on. The TPS registers on the logger but not on the AFC.. Thanks for the help man
