So in my quest for finding the best thing to tune my car I'm wondering if I should say screw it and drop the money on the EMS. It's fully stand alone, plug and play, etc.
If your running it, or know someone who is, share your opinion, info, etc?

From what's I've read so far I'll be able to ditch my MAF and run a speed density set up. So I'll need a MAP sensor. AEMs 5-bar will be more then enough and is the same price as a 3.5-bar. I'll also need an air intake temp sensor. These things will have to be wired up to the car correct?
Also assuming I'll have to get new intake piping.

Other question is, when using AEMs UEGO wideband O2 with gauge, does it hook up to the EMS at all or is it a stand alone unit? or both?

Thanks!

You should be able to log with either flavor of the UEGO wideband when used with the EMS. There's a data output wire(White???, I forget) that can be wired to a serial port, EMS and yes even DSMLink. Just keep in mind that it will only measure 11.1 and higher.

better get unlazy hehe, because its gonna take a while, and a whole lotta headache if your gonna tune it yourself, to get the car running correctly =P
