if i add a the aem map sensor to my aem ems -- can i get rid of my mas ? if so does it make for easier tuning or ? does it make it more difficult

You need to convert it from PNP MAS mode to a Speed Density mode (using MAP and temp sensors). But judging by your question YOU should not be doing this yourself...

Using map / temp -- will that make the tuning process easier than using the map or will it complicate it more ?

That depends of what you are used to... But I would never un AEM in MAS mode on a 1G, come to think of it, I do not know of anyone else who does it in ether 1G or 2G :shrug:.
