I adjusted my throttle cable today, however I couldn't as much as I wanted to since the head on my idle speed screw is stripped, anyhow, i tightened it up some so that the throttle plate would open farther. I went for a test drive, and everything was peachy- the idle speed was about 1000 RPMs. So, I get home and throw it in park, and the RPMs kick up to 1500, when I throw it into neutral it does the same. When it's in drive, reverse, 2nd, or low it's back down to about 1000 RPMs. It wasn't doing this before I drove the car , and has never done it before, any idea why it's doing it now?

Pretty sure thats your problem.

If not, take a look at your TB for any gunk build-up on the plate, the plate could be getting stuck open because of it.

One last thing, post in the right section!!
