no that would be the first stage. LOL i have this clutch and it works great. you'll just hate the break in period the clutch will release alll over the place for the first week or so. thats what mine did now its perfect in the middle. also why do you need to know if its stage 3?

I hate when people refer to clutches in stages.

But if you were to say a ACT stage 3 clutch, it would be an ACT 2900.

ACT really doesn't use the "stage" system to categorize their products. It would also depend on what disc he was running.

What ^^^ said.

You could say that 2100 is "stage 1", 2600 is "stage 2" and 2900 is "stage 3" just because of the hierarchy of their clutches.

But a 2100 with a 6 puck sprung hub disc is rated for more torque than a 2600 with a street disc, so "stage 2" would be lower than "stage 1" in this case. :ohdamn: Probably why ACT doesn't do stages.

These are not Hondas....we don't use stages. It always annoys me when I am at Autozone and some kid walks up out of the 5" tach and underglow isle to ask me what stage my car is.

HAHAHA! I had my transmission shop that rebuilt my tranny install my 2100 while they were in there. The freaking thing would grab so quicky and torque on the engine mounts, I thought there was a problem. They suggested that I would need new engine mounts instead of just suggesting the clutch needed a break-in period.
