ac duct to air filter

I was thinking about running some duct from the inside of the car from the ac to run into my stock air filter house to produce some colder air combustion.
How good do u guys think this would work? I know the ac cuts power, but if I did this, would it improve it more? Or would it just cancel out the bad from the good?
Suggestions? Would it be noticeable?

This has been discussed in the past. It did not come to fruition, but you could be the first.

Don't know for sure, but I would think any gains from the cooler intake temp would be minimial by having to run the AC compressor...?

Not sure how you would route the air from the cabin to the intake. But I'm pretty sure it would be more work than it's worth.

Same here I feel alot slower with the A/C on.

Physics says "NO". PieEyedPiper is right... Unless of course you converted your engine to perpetual motion.

Direct Exhaust Injection.... . I think I am going to try that out on my wife's car. She is all about high efficiency and good gas mileage... She'll get awesome gas mileage walking.

Now THAT is a great idea! My leaf blower only gets used a few weeks in the fall anyway, so this would be an excellent use of it in the mean time. I'll just cut a hole in the headlight and stuff the blower tube in it, then mount the blower motor like a winch on a Jeep! Brilliant!! Someone get me a Guinness...
