I am about to buy an FMIC and I need some answers and suggestions.. I currently have Dejon Upper I/C piping and re-using them is a must. I was looking into buy the Dejon FMIC Kit that uses the existing upper i/c piping. I am still open to options though. If I was to buy this I have two questions. It gives an option for the compressor size, I guess 2"? Correct me if I'm wrong. And second, what would I do about the power steering cooling line??

Also, are there any other FMIC's that would use my existing upper I/C piping??

Just a thought but you can always buy a short route setup and sell your current upper ic pipe to make up some of the difference. Is there any real reason why you want to keep your current UICP or just because of $$? For the outlet size it all depends on what size jpipe you run as you can get them in different diameters (looks like you will be running an evoIII according to profile). For the power steering line, cut the weld that holds the bracket in place & route the PS line on the back side of the hood latch support (instead of infront). I fabbed up a bracket when I did mine to keep the line in place tight.

I wanted to keep the pipes because I bought them very recently, money, and because I like the pipes a lot. Are there any other ic's that have pipes that hook up to the stock location?

Thanks for the line advice, sounds easy enough..

Yes there are others that hook up to the stock pipes but most prefer the short route setup vs the long stock route. Couple others compaines are Greddy (wouldn't waste my money on this setup) or Hahn Race Craft (Not a bad setup but much more then the Dejon Tool, could have a nice short route setup for its price). There are probably other but they aren't poping into my head right now. Dejon is probably the best bang for the buck.

I have just bought the intercooler and j-pipe from slowboy racing, and though they say it will fit right onto a 1g behind the bumper (1g race core) this only works on a standard. With my automatic, the lines to the tranny cooler block the holes in the front wall of the engine bay. Is there any easy way to install the intercooler without cutting more holes in the front wall and moving the coolant resevoir?
