A/T to M/T questions.

I have a quick question about a A/T to M/T swap. If i do the swap will there be any problems when it comes to the dmv? As in if they check my car and the vin (during inspection or something) is for a auto and mine is manual what would happen?

BTW Yes i know exactly what is needed and i have everything from a donor car.

I honestly don't see what the issue would be for having the parts changed. If you are concerned about it contact your DMV/DOT and ask them.

However, many people make the swap and I haven't heard of needing to change anything.

Should be fine. They might give you crap about bypassing the neutral safty switch but other than that you shouldnt have a problem.

wow is dose New York give you hell about stuff like that I have done that to 2 of my cars and never had any problems but then again I am in Texas...Hope it all worked out for you bro
